Hammer crusher for fine and medium crushing are designed with reverse operation of the rotor and hammers. The design of the inlet chamber, rotor with staggered hammers and smooth grate surface have a favorable influence on the crusher capacity. The design of the crusher housing (its tipping part) allows simple and quick access to important parts of the crusher for maintenance. Impact plates can be rearranged either in a closed path or in an open path. The machine can be supplied with a common base frame for the crusher and drive which shortens the installation time of the crusher. The frame can be supplied with a flexible seating to reduce the dynamic forces on the foundations.

The hammer crusher can be divided into two kinds: the reversible and unreversible. And the motor of the reversible hammer crusher can be reversible, which can be used for fine crushing while the unreversible hammer crusher can not be reversible, which can be used for medium crushing. The motor drives the rotors to rotate quickly in the crushing cavity. Raw materials enter the crusher through the feed opening and are crushed to small sizes by the high-speed hammer, with the process of pressing, impacting, cutting and grinding. There is a screening plate under the rotor, which make sure the materials with size smaller than the screen mesh will be screened out and others will be left to be further hammered and ground until they fulfill the standard size. The size of the final products can be adjusted by changing the screening plate. The gap between the rotors and the screening plate can also be adjusted according to different requirements.
Hammer crusher Working Principle: Driven by the motor, the rotor of hammer crusher which consist of main shaft, disk, pin shaft and hammers rotates at high speed in the crushing cavity. Raw materials enter the cavity through the feed opening. Materials in the cacity are blowed, impacted and ground by the hammer. Below the rotor is the sieve plate, which screens the materials. Materials in the hammer crusher that reach the required size can be discharged from the sieve plate, while the oversize materials will be left and crushed again until reach the standard size. The final product size of the hammer crusher can be adjusted by changing the screening plate. The gap between the rotors and the screening plate can also be adjusted according to different requirement.
Hammer crusher Application: this impact hammer crusher is used to crush material with maximum granularity of 600-1800mm to 25 or under 20mm, mainly used in cement, building materials, mining and chemical industry to crush brittle, medium-hard and low water content materials, such as limestone of which the compression strength is not more than 140MPa.
